ERV-R | Red Band

ERV-R “Red Band” expansion joints are suitable for various water applications, including drinking water, cold and warm waste water, seawater, cooling water, water with chemical additives for water treatment, low concentrated acids and alkalis, salt solutions, technical alcohols, esters and ketones.

The ERV-R rubber expansion joint can be used in oily atmospheric environments, e.g. engine rooms. However, this type is not suitable for use with mineral oil products, cooling water with added oil containing corrosion preventatives and oil-contaminated compressor air.

ROTEX

ROTEX expansion joints are typically used as safety compensators in heating installations. They are electrically dissipative and approved by TÜV according to DIN 4809 with temperatures up to 110° C at PN 6 bar. This type is suitable for permanent use with hot heating water, cooling water and hot air.

The ROTEX expansion joint is NOT suitable for drinking water, cooling water with oil containing additives, oil-contaminated compressor air and permanent exposure to steam.

ERV-G | Yellow Band

ERV-G “Yellow Band” expansion joints are typically used as compensators in fuel systems. They are electrically dissipative and suitable for petroleum based products with aromatic content up to 50%, fuels with ethanol content up to 85%, aviation fuels, town gas and natural gas.

The ERV-G “Yellow Band” is not suitable for liquified petroleum gas. Temperature range -20 °C up to +90 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +100 °C.

ERV-GS | YELLOW STEEL

ERV-GS “Yellow Steel” expansion joints are typically used as compensators in fuel systems. They are electrically dissipative and suitable for petroleum based products, DIN EN fuels up to 50 % aromatic content, cooling water with oily anticorrosion additives, lubrication and hydraulic oil and seawater.

Temperature range -20 °C up to +90 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +100 °C.

Fire resistant up to 30 minutes and 800 °C (acc. to ISO-15540).

ERV-GS HNBR | Yellow Steel HNBR

ERV-GS HNBR “Yellow Steel HNBR” expansion joints have been developed for the most demanding applications. These compensators are suitable for for petroleum based products, DIN EN fuels up to 50 % aromatic content, cooling water with oil-based anticorrosion additives, lubrication and hydraulic oil and seawater. This type is characterized by its very good aging, weathering and ozone resistance.

Temperature range -35 °C up to +100 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +120 °C.

Fire resistant 30 min. at +800 °C (acc. to ISO 15540). Electrically dissipative.

ERV-OR | Orange Band

ERV-OR “Orange Band” expansion joints are suitable for high pressure Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) applications according to EN 589. They are electrically dissipative and typically used for tank trucks, refuelling stations and tankers.

Temperature range -20 °C up to +90 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +100 °C.

ERV-GR | Green Band

ERV-GR “Green Band” expansion joints are typically used in the chemical and food industry. These compensators are electrically non-conductive and suitable for various chemicals, acids, alkalis and aggressive chemical waste water. It is suitable for oil-contaminated compressed air up to +90 °C.

Temperature range -20 °C up to +100 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +110 °C.

ERV-W | White Band

ERV-W “White Band” expansion joints are typically used in food processing industries. They are electrically non-conductive and suitable for food stuffs, including food that contains oils and fats.

The liner meets Food Safety Recommendation XXI of the German  "Bundesinstitute für Risikobewertung (BfR)" and FDA-21CFR 177.2600 requirements. However, the ERV-W rubber compensator is not approved for drinking water.

Temperature range -20 °C up to +90 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +100 °C.

ERV-CR | Chloroprene

ERV-CR expansion joints are suitable for cold and warm water, including swimming pool water, sea water, waste water (weakly acid, alkaline or oil-contaminated),
cooling water with protective oils against corrosion, lubricating oil, grease and (compressed) air.

These expansion joints are not suitable for drinking water, acids, alkalis, chemicals, heating oil, fuels, solvents, other hydrocarbons and hot compressed air.

Temperature range -25 °C up to +100 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +100 °C. Electrically non-conductive.

ERP | Red Spot

ERP “Red Spot” expansion joints are cost-effective and highly flexible expansion joints for sanitary installations and various cold and warm water applications. They are electrically dissipative and suitable for pool water, sea water and drinking water.

The ERP compensator is not suitable for mineral oil products, cooling water with added oil containing corrosion preventatives, oil-contaminated compressor air and for a permanent working pressure that exceeds 10 bar.

Temperature range -40 °C up to +90 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +120 °C.

ERV-BR | Blue Spot

ERV-BR expansion joints are typically used in the dredging industry due to their high resistance to abrasive media, such as such as sludges, slurries and other solid/liquid mixtures. These robust compensators are also suitable for all kinds of water (not oil-contaminated) as well as various chemicals. This type is not suitable for petroleum based products.

For extreme strain (e. g. sharp and rough-edged matter) an even higher level of protection can be achieved by using an inner protection sleeve (type SR).

Temperature range -50 °C up to +70 °C (depending on medium), temporarily up to +90 °C. Electrically dissipative.
